Very friendly staff, a comprehensive menu ranging from homemade pasta and pizza over nice seafood and some meat dishes makes this location a perfect place for a wonderful meal and drinks outside. I celebrated my bday and was absolutely beautiful. They prepared everything as requested, were very dedicated and friendly. The food was delicious and super tasty. The restaurant definitely has good value for money and the view&ambience are fantastic. Will defo come back đ
My wife and I went there for a hot chocolate after a cold and wind walk on Zugerberg. the kitchen was closed but at 3 p.m. that was fine for us. the restaurant looks very cozy and nicely decorated. the hot đ« was delicious and perfect for the moment, we'll be back with a dinner reservation.
A fabulously located restaurant on Lake Zug. Spectacular view of the lake and mountains especially from the open deck (see photos), Good food and spirits. Serve a super kirsch cake (photo). Good hospitality. There is outdoor and in-door seating.
One of the few international and world class restaurants in Zug. Views are stunning, drinks are great and the sheer variety and quality of food is well beyond the norm in Switzerland.
Our waiter held a smile during the entire service, and we came again the next day to watch the sunset as the first experience was great.
Oh, they also have proper napoletan pizza, mind blown, I was not expecting thatâŠ.

This is a really harsh review for sure. However for the prices they charge it is measured Iâd say. We were really early so it was empty but unfortunately when we left at after 8 it still was more or less. Beautiful location and purports to be a Gilde Restaurant. I have been to many of those and with the exception of the nice table cloths there was not a lot else Gilde like evident.
The starters were fine even if massively over priced. The mains were OK at best and definitely not the quality I would be expecting from a restaurant like this.
The best was still to come however - Fr 6.0 for a simple scoop of ice cream with the audacity to want to demand Fr 2.0 more for a shot of canned pressurised cream.
Nope. This concept does not work and neither the Zunfthaus nor the Gilde concept were anywhere to be seen. Such a pity.
The best place for great food and view especially during sunset. My god. The view. for vegetarians there are tons of options like pizzas, pastas, risotto and salad. I had a lovely gnocci in butter sage sauce and a mushroom ( remember to ask for fungii) pizza. Fantastic.
